The burned out house at 3106 is GONE!!! Yesterday it was bulldozed and the lot is blade clean. Don't know if it was the owner who realized it was too far gone to be saved or if it was the City who did it -- but thankfully, it will no longer be a problem.
If it was the City, that is the fastest I have ever seen them act. It took me 10 years to get rid of a vacant structure on Kinmore.

You beat me to this post by only minutes! I was home while the house was razed. It was the large semi-trailer trucks of the City of Dallas that hauled off the razed house. So this may indeed have been the works of the city.
As I drove by this morning, two non-city employees, hispanics, were on phones adjacent to the fence. May have been the property owners.
Owners are Anglo -- British actually.
May have been the fence people.
We should consider pooling our money and buying the lot and making it a park or community garden.
