Hooray -- I think I have some good news to report.

I have actually talked with a live person at the Morning News (after I threatened to gather up all of the papers and deposit them on the yard of the President of the paper).

She is willing for us to do an audit -- and I promised we would be fair -- of the addresses where the paper simply lays there and is not picked up by the resident. We will give her the list and she will stop the paper at those addresses.

I will do the 3000 -3300 blocks of Culver.

All Quiet

No new entries on the blog means that we are finally getting to a quiet point in the neighborhood.

I have nothing new to report. I have asked for updates on 3218 Culver -- was supposed to taken for taxes in December and 3237 Kinmore -- the burned house which was supposed to be bulldozed.

Other than that, all is quiet. No prostitutes, no apparent drug dealers.
