Robert thinks that he has seen the bike rider who we suspected in all of the garage break ins about 18 months ago.  So be extra cautious -- and if you see anything unusual, call the police

This was where the duplex collapsed and was torn down.  A fence was put up and car repair was being done there.  Today I noticed the fence is gone.  Thanks to Community Prosecution Office.

Apparently this has been ordered demolished.  The owners have 30 days to do it themselves or do whatever.  After that the City will demolish.  Much as I hate to see vacant lots in the neighborhood, I think they are better than houses beyond repair -- or if repairable, no one taking any interest for years. 

Those Stupid Folk Who Shoot in the Air

I recently went in my attic and found some things were wet.  I called a roofer who went on the roof and found a hole.  This on a part of the roof with nothing hanging over it.  A puncture hole --- his and my suspicion is that it caused when one of those bullets fired in the air came down.  Thankfully, it didn't come through my ceiling and damage me.   

He was very good and reasonable, so if you need a reference for a roofer, let me know.  I am just sorry that neighbors stupidity caused me to have to get to know him.
