Be on the lookout for a Burgundy Jeep

We suspect that the same culprits who were responsible for the burglaries last month are responsible for the current car breakin and the stolen car. They are reported to be driving a burgundy Jeep with a Christmas bow on the front. Spotted at the scene of the breakin and again this morning apparently casing the neighborhood.

Russell reported that the timing of the current problems coincides with one of the apparent culprits getting out of jail.

So be safe out there.

Car break-in and Car theft

My new neighbor in the duplex emailed me that his car was broken into sometime during the night while parked in their driveway.    Unfortunately, there is no fence on the back of that property and there is lots of foot traffic down that alley.  The time they stole my ladder they came and went through the alley.  (I keep the gate locked now)

Last week a stolen vehicle was found in the alley behind the house of the people we suspect are responsible for the several robberies on our block.

So secure your vehicles. 

I have left a message for the Sargeant for an update.

Prostitute Watch

One of the notorious prostitutes is back. She was picked up and sent to jail but has turned up again.  Known to flash her boobs and lean over with her short skirt and no underwear.

She is probably in her 40's, not fat, but a bit stocky, long darkish hair.  Yesterday she was wearing a SHORT black skirt which barely covered her butt and a black and white top.  She was at Winslow and I-30 at the Shell stations on either side.  (Robert and I each saw her several times)

If you see her, call the police to report a "known prostitute".  The last time she was here, several of her "friends" showed up as well.  We are trying to avoid that.
